Lotus Books was founded by German Lotus Fan and Historian Richard Spelberg.
He was very active in the Lotus Seven community, had owned quite a string of Lotus cars, even a some Lotus single seater racing cars, he quite liked racing. He searched and collected everything "Lotus" through his life, in the final years especially books.
He then made some very valued reprints, collected all available information and created a vast documentary archive about Lotus. From that data base he published some books and booklets on various cars.
Cancer took his toll and Richard died in 2005. The books and the archive then passed to Brammer Parts, until we took over in 2020.
We will try our best to maintain the high level of commitment and service quality, our first task will be to inventory the entire book collection, digitize the information and make it available to the public.
